Redefining the Core of the DJ Basin

Operations

We are actively developing our Hereford asset in northern Weld County, Colorado. This area is ideally suited for full field development with established infrastructure and effectively zero urban exposure.

The DJ Basin was first drilled horizontally for the Niobrara in 2009 by EOG Resources here on the Hereford property. The Jake 2-01H discovery well kicked off both a frenzied land rush across the DJ Basin and the modern horizontal development of the Niobrara and Codell formations.

The Hereford asset is characterized by predictable geology that is structurally quiet with well-defined stacked pay. Production from the Niobrara and Codell is predominantly comprised of oil and natural gas liquids.

Fifth Creek enjoys low crude oil differentials and priority capacity on a gas processing facility operated by Summit Midstream.
