Redefining the Core of the DJ Basin

Operations

We are actively developing our Hereford asset of approximately 83,000 net acres in northern Weld County, Colorado. This area is ideally suited for full field development with established infrastructure and effectively zero urban exposure.

The DJ Basin was first drilled horizontally for the Niobrara in 2009 by EOG Resources here on the Hereford property. The Jake 2-01H discovery well kicked off both a frenzied land rush across the DJ Basin and the modern horizontal development of the Niobrara and Codell formations.

The Hereford asset is characterized by predictable geology that is structurally quiet with well-defined stacked pay. Production from the Niobrara and Codell is comprised of approximately 81% oil (31-39° API) and natural gas liquids.

Fifth Creek enjoys priority capacity on a gas processing facility operated by Summit Midstream with contractually obligated line pressures below 50 psig. Crude oil differentials average below $2.25/Bbl off WTI.
